Finding the Right Match for Your Child

Three Types of Adoption to Consider
At A Loving Option Adoption, we offer three types of adoption plans:
Open Adoption: You maintain ongoing contact with your child and the adoptive family. This can include phone calls, texts, visits, or communication through a shared email account. Addresses are not shared until a comfortable relationship has been established, and a formal Communication Agreement is put in place before the adoption is finalized.
Semi-Open Adoption: Contact is maintained through a third party, such as your adoption agency. This allows for updates and photos while maintaining a degree of privacy for both families.
Closed Adoption: No identifying information is shared between the birth and adoptive families. Some women find this arrangement gives them the space they need to heal and move forward.
