Adoption can be a complex and emotional process, and birth parents who have made the difficult decision to place their child for adoption may experience a range of emotions, including grief, guilt, and loss. While adoption can be a positive outcome for all involved, it is important to acknowledge and support your experience and emotions.

One way to honor your experience as a birth parent is through joining a support group. These groups provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for you to share your experiences and connect with others who have made similar decisions. You can find comfort knowing you are not alone and learn coping strategies, and gain insight and understanding from hearing others’ experiences.

Join A Loving Option Adoption Birth Parent Support on the 2nd Thursdays of the month from 6-7pm. Email Kgomillion@ccetn.org for location and more information.
